Typically the largest element of a school budget, the school workforce can present a major challenge. The Employees section of the finance module
helps simplify this as well as recording detailed information on current and past staff useful for school census. The Employees section is broken down
into 3 main sections, employee details, budget maintenance and reporting.

To help the finance module project information about employee costs for several years in the future, detailed information can be entered
in the password protected employees section of the finance module. This includes general information about contact details and duties
and also more advanced information such as spine points, pensions, NI and pay and conditions. The general information kept in Finance can be quickly
synchronised with Wauton Samuel's PASAPP administration software, saving time maintaining employee details.

With employee details loaded onto the finance module, an accurate picture of the schools future workforce budget can be generated. The
system is able to project information such as interest rate and NI changes, changes in staff pay and conditions and changes in employee hours
and duties. This data is then used to build budgets for future years which can be edited and used across the whole of the finance module.

The finance module includes a versatile set of reports detailing general employee information and more detailed budget information. Integrating the
employee section's budget into the rest of the finance module opens up the whole of the finance module's reporting power allowing a user to
interogate budgets and match day to day spending and income to budgets.

Employee costs can be entered into the finance module and will be used to keep track of overall spending using reports such as the budget vs. actual.
The Finance module allows a user to enter any number of variations in the cost breakdown so different on-costs can be tracked as well as the basic
salary for each employee or duty.
