APPLICATIONS - Powerful

PASAPP is a fully intergrated pupil management system that allows the recording and reporting of a very wide range of information about pupils and the adults associated with the school.
Pasapp can be used by schools to maintain their yearly applications, distances can be entered manually or imported using ADT files from the school's Local Authority. A school can specify the admissions policy used to allocate places to pupils on a waiting list and detailed algorithms will sort the pupils by elegibilty before exporting an ASL file which can be sent electronically to the school's LA

The area around the school is first divided into appropriatley graduated bands

Local addresses are then allocated to a band For a typical school this 'one-off' exercise represents about one day's clerical work

Addresses around school and their distance band

Whenever an application address is added, the band to which it belongs is retrieved automatically

This usually means that only a handful of addresses need to be measured manually
before the allocation of places can take place
