MAIL-MERGE - A Powerful Resource

PASAPP is a fully intergrated pupil management system that allows the recording and reporting of a very wide range of information about pupils and the adults associated with the school.
Because PASAPP is developed within MS-Access it can be integrated with other Microsoft Office tools such as Word and Excel. This makes it easy for users to produce custom mailing lists and mail merge letters. One flexible way of creating mailing lists with many recipients within a school is by using groups and events

groups of pupils and specific events can be produced and reports or mailmerge letters created.

The following screen is used to select the pupils to be mail-merged They can be selected by class, year group or by virtue of their membership of an event or group

The information can be used for mail-merge or to produce a report

Address information for individual pupils can be entered for mail-merge very easily

For example, on the update pupils screen, by clicking on the button marked Mail Merge at the bottom of the screen
